Sound Bound is Westchesters' PREMIER Fishing Fleet. Based out of New Rochelle (Hudson Park & Neptune Park), and boasting 3 boats for various sized groups, we are set up to cater to your needs. Our location is EASILY accessible from NYC, The Bronx, Lower and Northern Westchester, the Connecticut coast, and we are THE closest saltwater fishing port to Rockland, Dutchess and Orange Counties.
In business for the last 9 seasons, sailing year-round Day & Night, the Captains and Crew of the Sound Bound have experience fishing the Long Island Sound easily tripling that, if not more. Working on other local boats since childhood, knowing every rock pile, wreck, ledge, and tidal stage within 20 miles shows in the fantastic fishing we've been experiencing since the day we started.
That along with out Captains' never quit attitudes ensures your trip will be a success. At Sound Bound, safety is paramount, followed closely by catching fish.
Each vessel undergoes a yearly vigorous inspection by the U.S. Coast Guard to ensure the vessel is operating with yours' and your families safety in mind. Coupled with the latest in navigation and fish finding electronics, radar, weather systems, and satellite phones, you're in good hands from start to finish.

Sound Bound Fleet, the largest & busiest fishing fleet in the Westchester & NYC area, is proud to present our Kids Summer Fishing Adventures Camp for 2024! Departing beautiful Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, NY, our Summer Camp is sure to be the talk of the Summer! We will be sailing aboard the 60’ SOUND BOUND ESCAPE, fishing the SCENIC, CALM WATERS OF THE WESTERN LONG ISLAND SOUND. All trips sail under the command of a fully USCG licensed Captain, with 2 trained crew members on board to assist the children throughout the entire trip. The Sound Bound Escape is comfortable and roomy, with 2 bathrooms and a large cabin perfect to relax when your little ones need a break.

Learn to Fish and Have Fun at Our Weekly Fishing Camp! Your child will learn valuable hands-on skills from trained professionals, including knot-tying, navigation basics, water safety, fish identification & conservation, and even take home their legal catch for family dinner! Imagine the look of pride at the table knowing they brought home the meal! They'll have that chance along with so many more priceless memories this summer! Before the week is out, your child will show a substantial improvement in their fishing abilities along with an in-depth knowledge of our local waters and what lives in it. And best of all, they will have fun doing it!
Space is limited to 20 kids. If we don’t fill all 20 spots on any given week, we open up the camp to Day Trippers! Day Tripper openings are added to our calendar every Saturday before the week starts, so be sure to check back if you’re interested in a Day Tripper spot.
